Tourist season is approaching, and the expectations of our visitors have changed. We are expecting a high volume of sophisticated travellers, many from the United States, who are coming here to support Canada. Visitors aren’t coming to British Columbia for the same banal, mass-produced American brands they can get at home. They’re here for a local experience – something new to discover.
In the hospitality industry, we are part of their story. This is their vacation, and our role is to make it delightful by offering something comfortable yet distinctly different. When you pour a local spirit, you aren’t just serving a drink; you are providing a piece of the British Columbia experience that they cannot get anywhere else.
Strengthening the Local Economy
Choosing local is good for your restaurant, your bar, and the local hotels. It strengthens the hospitality industry as a whole and supports the BC economy during challenging times. There is a growing sense of patriotism among Canadians as we realize the quality of what we have available right here. We need to celebrate that.
Reflecting this pride in your menu reflects well on you. You show your guests that you invest in your community and demand the same quality from your suppliers that you put into your food and service.
Mastery and Custom Craft
Every ounce of alcohol we produce comes from BC-grown raw materials. Every product is crafted in our distillery in Richmond, where we apply mastery-level skill to create the highest quality spirits in the world.
We did not settle for average equipment. Our vodka still is the best in the world, hands down. There is only one other like it in North America, located in Florida. Ours was custom built for us in Hungary and shipped to Richmond to ensure we produce the cleanest alcohol possible. Our gin still was hand-hammered and custom made for us in Spain.
No Less Than Superior
We brought this world-class technology to Richmond because British Columbians and the tourists who visit us demand no less. They are not looking for something average. They are looking for something vastly superior.
When a guest asks for a recommendation, you can tell them the story of a spirit grown in BC fields and distilled with the finest equipment on the continent. That is a story they will take home with them. It is a premium experience that honors their choice to spend their time and money in our province.
Let’s give them something to remember.
