This weekend, Deep Blue Distilleries had the pleasure of attending the BC Gin Festival, where craft gin enthusiasts gathered at the Roundhouse Community Centre to celebrate and discover exceptional spirits. It was an exciting opportunity for us to showcase Nookum Gin and connect with the local community, other distillers, and gin lovers from around the region.

The real highlight of the event was hearing the incredible feedback from festival-goers about Nookum Gin. Many attendees remarked on the gin’s smooth, soft, and delicate flavour—a true reflection of the care and craftsmanship that goes into creating it. The Saskatoon berries, with it’s earthy and nutty profile, surprised many with their sweetness, while the coriander offered a unique twist that complemented the gin’s gentle botanicals perfectly.

Several tasters commented on the originality of the flavor profile, with one mentioning how, even after sampling multiple gins throughout the festival, they could still appreciate the distinct botanicals in Nookum.
