We’re excited to officially introduce Deep Blue Distilleries to the Richmond community and invite all our neighbors and local businesses to come visit and see what we’ve created! Our recent press coverage marks an important milestone, and we’re eager to share the fruits of our labor with everyone.

Our journey began in 2018 when the space next to our law office became available, and we couldn’t resist the opportunity to bring our vision to life. Co-owned by Kyla Lee and Paul Doroshenko, both lawyers at Acumen Law, Deep Blue Distilleries is the result of their shared passion for crafting spirits. Despite challenges like extensive renovations, evolving building codes, and pandemic-related delays, we persevered, and it’s all been worth it.

We’re proud to introduce our two signature products: Charm Vodka and Nookum Gin, the latter named in honor of Kyla’s Métis heritage, celebrating the strength and wisdom of the women in her family. Paul also brings a deep-rooted connection to distilling through his family’s history in Alberta, adding a personal touch to our operation.

While we’re still working on securing our lounge permit to offer a full cocktail menu, we’re already open for tours, tastings, and bottle purchases. We look forward to welcoming our neighbors and friends at 5800 Cedarbridge Way, Richmond, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come visit us and experience the results of our hard work firsthand!
