The excitement is building at Deep Blue Distilleries, and we know many of you are eagerly anticipating our grand opening. We’ve been hard at work distilling for the past few months, perfecting our products and preparing our spirits for you to enjoy.

Our chief distiller, with 25 years of experience, has been incredibly pleased with the custom-made equipment installed in our facility. This state-of-the-art machinery has allowed us to produce spirits of exceptional quality, ensuring that every bottle meets our high standards.

As with any such venture, regulatory hurdles are the most time-consuming part of the process. Right now, we’re in the final stages of receiving approval from the BC Liquor Distribution Branch. This final step involves obtaining a SKU for our products, which is necessary before we can legally sell our spirits.

Once we receive the OK from the BC Liquor Distribution Branch, we’ll open our store to the public. Shortly after that, our tasting room will be operational, offering you a firsthand experience of our finely crafted spirits.

While we await this final approval, the distillery is fully functional. We’ve casked thousands of litres of whiskey, which will remain in barrels for a few years to develop their rich flavors. In the meantime, we’ve bottled our premium vodka, gin, and even a special run of moonshine to celebrate National Moonshine Day and the installation of our new signs on the property.
