Nookum, meaning “my grandmother” in Métis and Cree, is a tribute to the strong, resilient women who have passed down their wisdom, culture, and traditions through generations. Our founder, Kyla Lee, who maintains her strong connection to her Métis roots, wished to honour her heritage and the legacy of her ancestors through this unique gin. Nookum Gin embodies the spirit of the Métis community, known for its vibrant culture, perseverance, and connection to the land.

Our state-of-the-art gin still, custom-made for us in Spain, preserves the delicate flavors of the botanicals, resulting in a smooth and flavorful spirit.
